What does Rainforest Alliance Certified mean?
Our Rainforest Coffee is Rainforest Alliance Certified. The seal stands for farming with attention to forests, biodiversity, human rights and farmers’ living conditions. Certified farmers and companies work according to requirements for more sustainable agriculture; independent audits check whether they meet them.
The story behind the little frog
The frog on the seal is a symbol of a healthy living environment. Rainforest Alliance helps farmers protect nature and make their farms more resilient to climate change.

The little frog, through an artist’s eyes
Art also has a place in the Rainforest Coffee story. This colourful frog brings nature close and ties in with the little frog of the Rainforest Alliance seal: a symbol of a healthy living environment.
Beautiful People connects artists and businesses and makes art visible on products and in projects. This gives the work an audience beyond the studio and puts the maker’s talent centre stage.
The maker: presumably Paul Pranger. The Beautiful People art gallery includes two of his works, titled ‘Kikkers 04’ and ‘Kikkers 08’.

Rainforest Projects: trees and rainforest
In addition to certification, Beautiful Coffee supports tree planting and the preservation of rainforest and wildlife through Beautiful Cups and Rainforest Projects. The original Beautiful Coffee site describes projects in Sumatra and Tanzania.
Rainforest Alliance is the certification for the coffee. Rainforest Projects is the separate initiative for nature and forest projects.

Good coffee starts with the choice of beans
The best coffee for your organisation is coffee that your staff and guests enjoy drinking. That is why we look at taste preferences, the drinks you want and usage throughout the day. Does your team like a smooth coffee, a full lungo or a strong espresso? Together we choose a suitable blend and set up the machine to match.
Our coffee is roasted in the Netherlands. Slow roasting gives the beans time to develop their aromas. We select on taste and consistency and check new deliveries against reference samples. This keeps your chosen coffee recognisable.
Our coffee lines
Rainforest coffee
Different blends and origins offer room for a wide range of tastes, such as Crema, Espresso and Bellissimo, alongside Brazil and Sumatra. We help you choose which variety suits your people and your brewing method.
Phlavour coffee
A coffee line in which taste and social commitment come together. The packaging features art by artists from Philadelphia. The line offers various taste profiles, including Mild, Crema, Strong and Espresso, as well as a ground version.
Quality is also in the preparation
Good beans alone are not enough. Grind size, extraction time, temperature, water dosage and coffee strength together determine what ends up in the cup. At commissioning, we set up the machine for the chosen coffee and the desired result. During service visits and evaluations, we check the settings and adjust where needed.
Your staff’s experiences count too. Is the coffee too strong, too mild, or does a recipe not suit your users? Then we discuss which adjustment is possible. Daily cleaning, good water and correct stock management help keep the taste at its best.
Quality and affordability
We look at the whole coffee service: your consumption, peak moments, the equipment needed, the product range and the service you want. By aligning these elements, you avoid an unnecessarily large machine or an offer that does not match how it is used.
In a proposal, we make clear what is supplied, which services are included and which options are charged separately. This lets you assess the solution on taste, ease of use and total costs. We align deliveries and stock with your organisation to limit shortages and unnecessary waste.
More choice of drinks
In addition to coffee, we supply tea and related products. Tea of Life offers various tea varieties for the business coffee spot. We also discuss decaffeinated coffee, sweeteners and plant-based alternatives. Availability and preparation are tailored to your chosen range and equipment.
Delivery from Rotterdam
Beautiful Coffee is based in Rotterdam and serves organisations throughout the Netherlands. In Rotterdam and Rijnmond, we deliver with our own delivery service. We agree the ordering method, delivery times and contact persons with you in advance.
A range that can adapt
In addition to coffee with adjustable strength, we discuss tea with and without caffeine, decaffeinated coffee in sachets and plant-based alternatives. Which products are suitable depends on availability and equipment. If your wishes change, we take another look at your range.
