Quality coffee with social impact
Training, suitable work and daily care of the coffee spot.
Training, work and art each have their own page. Below you will find more information about our approach, SROI and tenders.
A good coffee service and job opportunities
Beautiful Coffee combines quality products and personal service with opportunities for social participation. Through Beautiful People, we connect learning and working around the daily coffee service. We look at what people can do and what guidance helps them to develop further.
Beautiful People Academy
The Academy was developed in collaboration with Stichting BOOR. The training combines practical explanations and online instructions on operating, filling, cleaning and maintaining coffee machines. Participants learn to carry out daily checks, recognise simple notifications and work safely and hygienically.
Clear language, images, instruction videos and guidance make the explanations accessible. The same learning environment supports both users of the coffee service and people distanced from the labour market who are learning the trade of coffee operator. On completing the training, participants receive a certificate.
Beautiful People Works
Participants who are ready for work can be guided to a suitable workplace through Beautiful People Works. A coffee operator can make sure machines are clean, ingredients are stocked and the coffee area is well kept. This gives the employee a meaningful role and takes daily tasks off your organisation’s hands.
We discuss which tasks are suitable, how much effort is needed and how guidance and coordination in the workplace are organised. Our people work at companies including Unilever and Van Oord.
SROI: agreements that suit your contract
Would you like to use your coffee service to deliver social return? We discuss the options for training, participation and the deployment of coffee operators, tailored to your organisation and the requirements of the contract in question.
Reporting can make the effort and contribution visible. Which activities count and how they must be accounted for depends on your client’s SROI agreements. That is why we agree in advance which data and substantiation are needed; a coffee purchase does not automatically count in the same way for every scheme.

Phlavour: art gets a visible place
The Phlavour coffee line was developed with Philadelphia. Artworks on the theme of coffee were given a place on packaging and stickers. The coffee line also provides work at De Schutsluis in Veenendaal. In this way, we connect an everyday product with talent and participation.
Tenders
We think along about a complete coffee service with equipment, ingredients, maintenance, implementation, training and social added value. The proposal is tailored to your list of requirements, locations and the services you want. Specific performance standards, rates, reports and service agreements are set out in the offer for your contract.
From training to work
The training is aimed at people distanced from the labour market who, with suitable support, can work as coffee operators. Participants learn to work safely and hygienically, carry out daily checks and look after the coffee area. On completion, they receive a certificate. Those who are ready for work can be guided to a suitable workplace through Beautiful People Works.
In the materials provided, the Academy is described as an initiative of Beautiful People, Stichting BOOR and Provso Works. Deployment, guidance and costs are agreed for each specific collaboration.
Beautiful People Art
Art gives talent a visible place. For the Phlavour coffee line, artists from Philadelphia created works on the theme of coffee. A selection was given a place on packaging and stickers. The line was introduced in 2022 and is linked to work at De Schutsluis in Veenendaal.
Projects and digital exhibitions also offer room for talent, appreciation and connection. Mawaheb in Dubai is a studio where artists with disabilities develop their talent. Beautiful People helped make founder Wemmy de Maaker’s dream a reality.
Learning through real tasks
The tender examples provided also describe coffee-related work and the making of base cabinets by students of Stichting BOOR. For each assignment, we look at which learning and work activities suit the participants and the client.
